She was let go from the roman prison for only one reason. To capture Bithus and give proof of his demise. Either way was bad. Spare Bithus and Denzi will hang at dawn. Bring back to the roman commander Bithus's head and Denzi will walk free. Her mind plunged into the darkness and she rushed her horse to the river. She found Bithus and with a swing of her sword his head rolled onto the ground. As she collpased on her knees, Hestia's wrath fell upon her and her strength begun draining little by little. In the end, she stood up, the shadow of the woman she was, her fingers grasping on Bithus head. With visible effort she mounted her horse and rode back to the roman camp, to bring Denzi back and hoping her treason will never be found. |
